A: After reading over a submission I do a quick thumbnail sketch. From there I build / tile out the design using illustrator. The designs aren't based on any formula, just usually what comes to my mind first after reading over the answers. A: I'm sorry to say that I do have a full-time job, and other side projects outside of pattern +. In a perfect world I would sit down and do a pattern request as soon as I get it, but as you can see that isn't the case. So, all excuses aside I promise your pattern will be done at one point (and thanks in advance for your patience!) A: If you give me your email, I will simply contact you at that address when I do finally complete your design. Beyond that I will not hand out your email for any other purposes outside of this site. A: For your blog / twitter (etc) / non-profit purposes, absolutely! (I'd love a credit / link if possible). For your commercial website / textile designs or any projects you plan to sell, talk to me first. Ultimately, I would love to see my work on any number of products but we gotta talk $$ and legal rights first, email me to discuss any details. |
